Yo,

So tomorrow night (Saturday 28th November 2015) we launch something very special in the heart of Birmingham's current Rave scene... Digbeth! The concept is to try and re-create the style of raving which took the UK by storm in the late 80's and early 90's, the same atmosphere, the same music (With a modern injection here and there but of course keeping it original as possible!)For those that were too young to actually have first hand experience like many of us, its fantastic to be given the opportunity to take a step back in time or as close to it as possible! And for those who were lucky enough it will be a great chance to come and re-live those memories of the never ending long nights of pure emotion and euphoria.

We have hand picked a selection of DJs who we think can truly represent such an iconic era and do it justice. From Acid House to early Detroit Techno, we hope to keep you dancing with classics but also on your toes with modern re-edits and forgotten gems!

One of our resident DJs; Tomola has put together a taster of what to expect, a tease you could say, not giving everything away just yet! (So make sure you're there on the night for the full experience!) Trawling through his Vinyl and playlists he has managed to compile a mix that shows his knowledge and love for this era! Combining sounds from such clubs as the infamous Haçienda in Manchester, Chicago & New York Warehouse Classics, Detroit Techno Anthems and what he likes to call 'Modern Snipers'. This mix is sure to get you in the mood to rave!
