Ghetto Swing is a new compilation with a fresh take on one of the most exciting new genres of our era, Electro Swing. Whilst keeping to the tradition that meets 1940s and 1950s sampling with 21st century style clubbing, Ghetto Swing introduces the grit and grime of hip hop, reggae and dubstep.

Expect a disc that is dance floor heavy, you’ll be dancing to big beats, donning top hats and bow ties, flapper dressers and rouge. Classy, but leaving a dance floor with no choice in the matter of getting hot 'n' sweaty, leaving all sense of decorum at the door.

"Chasing Dusk", my latest Electronic-Alternative composition, is an emotional piece, which was written over many days and nights. As I write music, I often find my mood or style changes so frequently, that it causes my records to contain a vast degree of melodic contrast. Through out the record, you can truly feel all of the emotions that I felt during the writing process; from uplifting and powerful, to isolated and distant. As a composer, most people note upon the contrast, and the perception of 'time' in my works. Personally, this is one of the most beautiful things you can strive for in music, as it not only has a greater impact on listeners, but demonstrates the true feeling behind a piece. Thank you for taking the time to listen, and I hope you enjoy, "Chasing Dusk".

The After Hours Quintet were formed in April 2012 as a way for the members of the band to bring their love of Jazz to the club scene.

The After Hours Quintet is a fully Live outfit which combines the musical sensitivity and spontaneity of Jazz with the accessibility and chic of modern dance styles. The quintet which features, Sax, Clarinet, fret-less Bass, trumpet, a turntablist and some smooth jazz guitar has a repertoire featuring several (semi) original tracks as well as a handful of tunes which delicately fuse popular jazz classics with altogether rarer sounds: all underpinned by beats so funky they just beg you to get them feet workin'.
