The cover picture of this track was taken when a good old friend of mine and I were driving through the night towards Toronto after visiting the picturesque Niagara Falls, certainly one of my greatest adventures.

Hi, I'm Sven, aka Al Bongo and I'm pleased to meet you. Let me quickly introduce myself.

Music production is a huge passion of mine, I'd even say it's an addiction. But it hasn't always been this way. I grew up in a very small town near Berlin, called Brandenburg an der Havel. My grandfather used to play in a band and my parents were quite eager for him to teach me playing the piano and learn basic music theory. I even ended up in a music school at some point. As a child, however, I always had better things to do. I hardly practiced and I'd give my grandpa as well as my music teacher a hard time.

About 20 years later, after I moved from Germany to Australia, things changed from one day to the next. I remember one night I was watching various youtube music videos and I somehow stumbled upon a music production tutorial. I was instantly mesmerised. To me, the idea that you could combine simple wave forms into a complex and beautifully sounding electronic music track was just mind-blowing. I just couldn't stop and kept learning more and more topics around music production, sound design, mixing and mastering. And the best thing was that all the music theory I learned as a child suddenly made sense to me and it was fun!

It has now been a few years since I started producing and my fascination for music production has only grown. I love the idea of making people happy by giving them a soundtrack to their daily lives in the form of melodic deep house and progressive house tracks.
