Alex Sandra was born in the Maryland/DC area to ethnic Philippine parents. She discovered her love for music at the age of 9, and continued to pursue the arts through grade school partaking in chorus and art classes.  She was inspired by musicians such as Jewel, Melissa Ethridge, Gwen Stefani, Alanis Morissette and many others. Alex began to develop her skills as a lyricist at the age of 14.

Besides being one of the main, go to, Karaoke DJ's in the DMV area, she spends most of her time writing and creating in the studio. 2018 was a turning point for her to take more determinative steps towards advancing in the music industry.
