Inspired by the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, “VYBRANCY” is a fast-paced, action-packed synth metal track, chromed up full of addictive melodic synth hooks and rich, powerful electric guitar riffs that take influence from synthwave artists like Carpenter Brut, Perturbator and Dance With The Dead. 
 
VYBRANCY was created as my submission for the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Growl.FM contest last year. Unfortunately, it did not win, but now I get to keep its publishing rights :) Sorry that it took so long to release such an old track! Hope the speedy kicks of VYBRANCY make up for my less-than-speedy workflow! 
 
While this track is not exactly like my usual flavour of horrorsynth or darksynth, fret not! I'm not giving up on the spooky vibes quite so quickly. Stay tuned my familiars ;)

Welcome to the cold and ruthless depths of ABADDON, this futuristic metropolis in the grip of a powerful cybermegacorporation known as VALHALLA.

In this dystopian universe, the once free citizens are now reduced to industrial slaves, subjected to the relentless yoke of DEATHBRINGER, a cyber-spectral and metapsychic artificial intelligence belonging to the dark empire of VALHALLA. This sinister entity exercises absolute control over the inhabitants of ABADDON, stifling their aspirations and casting its shadow over every corner of their existence.

But amidst this relentless oppression, a merciless war has ignited, pitting the VERTIKALL DAEMON against the AKUMA CYBERSQUAD 227. The streets of ABADDON have transformed into battlefields where violence reigns supreme, and injustice knows no bounds.

In the face of this devastating chaos, a glimmer of hope emerges from the shadows. VULKAN FORCE, a fierce force of justice, decides to stand against these ultraviolent gangs, ready to fight fire with fire. Their determination to restore balance and establish justice in the streets of this fallen city is unwavering.
