Solstice Weather Report
 
These solstice eyes 
have learned to disagree
with the varnish and dies
of vain pleasantry

The ugly devices of self-serving goons
casting their angst ridden bases
only to float their ego-balloons
have erased all the sky's visual graces.

This Solstice skin
has learned to shy away
from the deceptively Thin
pvc overlay.

this discount-priced vortex of dime-store illusion
raises hope from the ground at it's gust front
only to soil soils with futile pollution
as it scatters it's load in the minds of those stunned.

These Solstice ears
have learned to listen in
to the grumblings of fears
in the voice therein

Bared. in the open, prone to transform
Buds turn to flower when graced by the soft rain
fears provide courage to transcend the norm
letting go and becoming are one and the same.

In Waves

This was a really fun mega collab with a bunch of super creative artists! Of course Stonerjazz (Jeff) is a long-time partner in crime. He instigated this one by sending bass/drum machine and guitar parts as a bunch of stems to me, Entheogenic Psychonaught (Josh) and TexMex Shaman (Stephen). Stephen really developed the atmosphere with more guitars and added sound effects, I added a bassy synth and drone in the middle, and Josh added mandolin and a new bass part. Then I worked with Josh to develop the second half with added percussion and he extended his bass/mandolin parts. Finally Jeff suggested and got permission from Hosam Yousef to use his vocal samples, and added some finishing touches (intro and outro) with the guitar.

This was a wild experience and an honor to work with this crew, thanks to all involved!

This is the story about  a solitary Man who kept to himself, didn't much like the world or the people in it, he only comes out at night in the Dark so No-one can see him, he is a lonely man & he lives a lonely life, the one day he just wished himself away and vanished in the Mist, never to be seen again. Songster version was a little ‘copla’ about not being able to be with, nor without, a loved person.  As usual, I’ve ‘upgraded’ it, process from which you only get the final result, normally. 

But, following lyrics’ contradictions, I not only serve parts with different levels of (dis)order in heavy rock - flamenco sauce, but raw vs very cooked parts as well, starting with the improvised phone recording of the very first idea I had to develop the song, so please excuse my failures and noises.
