'Music for Active Meditation' is an on-going concept album and features compositions based on hypothetical scenarios during which a healthier sense of perspective is attempted to be gained as the listener is engaging in some form of physical movement.

ABOUT
3844 (pronounced 'thirty-eight, forty-four') is my outlet for the compositional concepts that I’ve had floating in my head for many years. Some complex, some simple... but until I explored composition software applications, I didn’t have an artistically or technically viable means to manifest any of them.

Calm. The absolute foundation for obtaining and sustaining a healthy perspective and making healthy decisions. While there are many worthwhile goals, there is evidence to strongly suggest that the central catalyst to any goal being met is an individual's personalized focus on that one state, Calm, while in the process of manifesting the goal's varied tactical solutions.

We all need consistent and reliable mechanisms for decompressing from the demands of our daily lives as well as generating the grounded composure necessary to achieve our goals while maintaining human decencies and always valuing evidence and compassion. The Calm Culture live-score concept is TAP's offering to be one of those consistent and reliable mechanisms.

Christopher Hydinger's The Antenna Project provides instrumental live-scores (improvised context-specific audio compositions) for all variety of experiences including extended duration performance, yoga, meditation and other movement-based classes, events, performances and happenings, films, fashion shows, ceremonies and gatherings of all kinds. He employs amplified electric guitar, an effects pedal and various methods of interfacing to create full-registered music ranging from subdued waves of droning minimalism to exuberantly celebratory maximalism.

Christopher's held the artist-in-residence position at Punk Rock Yoga, creative directed and performed in the award-winning art-theater group PB_TMOG, curated and produced the quarterly Dance and Music improvisation-based performance series HERE/NOW, performed in graphic novelist Dame Darcy's band Death By Doll and performed at venues such as Benaroya Hall, Neumos, The Crocodile, Chop Suey, On The Boards, Velocity Dance Center, the Henry Art Gallery, Northwest Film Forum and the Triple Door sharing the stage with such acts as Low, Woven Hand, David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), The Gossip, Sun City Girls, The Makers, Tara Jane O’Neil, Kinski, The Dead Science and Climax Golden Twins.

He currently owns/operates WCS Art and Design, a cross-disciplinary venture with experience in landscape design (including Greenstaging: working with real estate brokers and property owners to refresh and/or design custom gardens for listings), graphic design, brand/concept authoring, copywriting, product design, clothing/costume design, environment design and art-based event production.
