AoS is an established Brisbane-based alternative, independent electronic trash trio whose native, instrumental sound was forged in a West End garage during a fierce electrical storm in 2012. Maintaining an anti-careerist, anti-music industry attitude, the trio rose to public recognition in early 2013 after a rare underground showcase of a compilation demo-tape went viral, garnering strong positive critical acclaim in numerous underground Brisbane music zines. Regarded for their minimalist, stripped-down vocal style, meditative and organic post-electro anthems and low-fi music aesthetic, the trio have commenced work on their debut EP, The Holy Trinity (2013) to be released later in the year; a sonic exploration of the abstract concepts of divinity, desire and sacrifice in contemporary art culture.
