The Archivists is a curated audio forum that uses physical locations to present unconventional social histories. Our purpose is to explore locations around the world that have lived many different lives throughout history. We accomplish this exploration by examining architecture, environments, culture, language, dichotomies, contrasts, and details that are not readily available or visible when experiencing a location in-person. The Archivists’ choose locations and then interview a series of subject-matter experts, locals, and visitors from various backgrounds to provide perspectives within the format of a walking tour.
