Jenny & Anthony Ayers, The Ascenders, are on a pilgrimage to create an indie rock collection of stories chronicling life, love, faith, hope, sorrow, and joy. Carter Davis, collaborator and co-writer with the wayfaring pair completes the trio. The songs have deeply rooted themes grabbing at the heart of the listener, soaring vocal melodies are lifted by a bruising rhythm section, blissfully earnest guitars drive alongside vivid electronic layers to create an emotionally turbulent mix of bittersweet reverie.
