In this departure from the traditional boom bap sound that is the hallmark of The Assembly, Lebo takes it back to the Rhythm and Poetry roots of the art to tell a tale of love and longing.

The piece was inspired by the Music of Odesza, as the track Bloom provides the backdrop of the story.

What More Can I Say (Freestyle)

It's not easy to imagine Captain on an Usher track... but when that Music is produced by Just Blaze, it becomes a lot more feasible.
'Throwback' appears on Usher's 2004 album, 'Confessions' and here, Captain's uses it to say what not only needed to be said, but needed to be heard. A heartfelt piece delivered sincerely.

ThrowBack (Freestyle)

Sometime in 2014, we approached renowned producer and dear brother Inyambo "Nyambz" Imenda with the request to host our EP.
At that point, individual and group songs spread over years of creation existed... and at best they were doodles on a page.

Fast forward one year and, alongside the collaboration with the legendary Sean Price (which Nyambz secured himself), are himself, are nine original tracks that he has stitched together beautifully... creating a solid cross-section introduction of The Assembly.
