I watch the sun slowly rise,
With wide eyes and I sigh demoralised.
As it bathes green pastures in its light,
I begin to realise,
The truth of human development.
As they blot out the sky,
Towers exhibit their true nature,
Scars on the face of the hillside.
We're a virus,
And there's no vaccination.
Everything we love facing extermination.
I watch the sun slowly rise,
With wide eyes and I sigh demoralised.
As it bathes green pastures in its light,
I begin to realise.
Bit by bit each blade of grass withers and dies,
Choking on the fumes of those who swallowed the lies.
