Justin Gabriel had a killer run in NXT along side Tyson Kidd RIGHT before he quit.  Outside of that, not much to say about Gabriel.

Man, Heath Slater is the best.  I've been preaching about that guy forever.  He ranked 7th an apparently legit "vote on your favourite WWE wrestlers" poll for 2015 despite being on TV about 3 times that year, entirely because he is such a nice dude on social media.  He had a 1 win, 127 losses record in 2015 and was STILL 7th most popular.  It's just so nice to see a good guy who is just straight up a good guy.  He just goes out there and has fun, and it feels so fresh.

Hall of Pain Mark Henry is one of my favourite storylines in modern WWE, hands down.  Just a tough guy who got sick of not being taken seriously, kicking it into high gear and destroying everyone.

Thank you!  I was the only person I knew saying that Miz was great at what he does for the longest time and people only started agreeing with me this year.  It's so nice to have some acknowledgement that he has genuinely been good for years.

The closest I can find to an official retirement for Christian was Lawler saying it once on commentary during an episode of Raw in passing.  He deserves better than that.

Honestly, thinking about it, it might very well be because of Punk that they switched to "we'll write your stuff, memorise it. No, you can't say anything else. No improvising anything. Say the script we give you." instead of letting people have character
