For those of you you are not familiar with him, Brooklyn MC Bad Seed has had minor success in underground Hip Hop since the 90's. Being a part of the O.B.S. crew with Jean Grae and Pumpkin Head is where he got his start in the late 90's. After disbanding he went solo and made a buzz from working with super producer Nottz dropping the smash singles "For The kids" and "Uhhnnhh" (which made it on Funk Flex's "The Mixtape
Vol VI" album). The singles got him a deal with Warner Bros in which he recorded an album that got shelved and never released. 


2006 saw his debut project "Dirty Urine" which was a compilation of miscellanious tracks. Seed is also best friends with Mims, who he helped get out to the public eye before rising to fame with "This Is Why I'm Hot". He was featured on Mims debut album "Music Is My Savior" along side Bun B. 2008 saw Seed dropping his official solo album "Intelligently Ignant" with the smash single "Yankee Fitted" featuring Talib Kweli & Mims produced by the late great Kleph Dollaz.

Today Seed plans to release his final album "Coreyography" in 2015 and to start things off he drops the Dr No produced Caviar.

Back in 1999-2000, Bad Seed was working on his solo career as he dropped his first two singles "Dem Grits" and "Shit Is Hot". At the same time, producer Nottz was trying to jump start his career as well, working with up comers like 3rd Eye and D.V. Alias Khrist. 

While crafting his signature style of sampling classical and showtunes and adding his signature dark bass, Nottz gained great success by working with Busta Rhymes on his "ELE" album as well as Seed's "Fo rThe Kids" single which was a huge success in the underground and even got Seed a deal with Rawkus Records.

2010's "Intelligently Ignant" was Seed's first official solo album. The first single was the Kelph Dollaz produced "Yankee Fitted" which featured heavy weights Talib Kweli and MIMS. The track and video garnered a good buzz for the veteran MC as the only released single off the album.

In 2012 Kleph tragically died from heart failure. He was an understudy of fellow Virginian producer Nottz.

Following the popular release of Seed's first single, "Caviar", off his forthcoming "Coreyography" album, is the MIMS assisted "Face Off" produced by frequent collaborator Ves. The single itself is a boastful joint aimed at artists who talk game but don't walk it.

Although this single may or may not appear on Seed's final album "Coreyography", it will be featured on his upcoming mixtape "It Is What It Was" which is the prequel to the album.
