Wasteland

Wes Taepont is a song about a fictional cajun character named Wes, who represents the idea of life's freedom pre-conception, and the return to that freedom after death, once again outside the bounds of encarnation. It is also just a jammin tune. :)

Red was written for Valentines Day in 2009, and has blossomed into a full rock band love song since then.

The oldest song on the album in terms of composition, this riff-driven rock song uses the metaphor of lines to represent barriers of perception drawn around the people we come into contact with.

The finale to the album and also its stompingest track, Wasteland is based on the basic idea that if we are expecting things to go according to plan or if we let ourselves believe in control as something we can keep, then we are living in a wasteland, because not only is the realm of certaintly and control not as fun, but it's also non-existant, as in "Nothing but the dust as your feet." :)

Thriller

The Banditos are a six part rock band out of Lake Bluff, Illinois. Their style includes both fresh and faithful covers of recognizable rock, pop, and funk songs as well as some originals. They have played at the Lake Bluff Block Block Party and in the Fourth of July Parade. In the summer of 2012 they put out their first album of originals titled "Conductor".
