Fresh from opening Madison Square Garden for Above & Beyond's Group Therapy 100 celebrations, London's ilan Bluestone continues to ride the wave of studio success that has made him a favourite with the likes of Radio 1's Pete Tong over recent months. We get sent A LOT of demos to listen to these days at the old MRR office (which is starting to be a problem, if you watch the tour vid of our office you’d see why http://bit.ly/MRRofficetour).

The first thing we listen out for in them is that little spark in a tune, the ‘X’ factor if you will… and we feel ‘The Rush EP’ has that spark.

New Sydney based duo ‘Voyage IV’ sent us these not too long ago, raw and to the point production wise, but the creativity and quirkiness was impossible to ignore. Think of a young Claude Von Stroke, but a bit rougher, a bit tougher. Aussie grit I guess you’d call it – perfect for those late night thumper sets (that’s for those that don’t live in Sydney of course…)

So we present to you Voyage IV’s debut EP... The Rush.

Following on from his successful Philthy Chit alias, Perfecto Black A&R Phil introduces his new alias Phil Martyn. Sticking to his trademark sound, Chamber has a dark driving bassline, progressing towards trance influenced riffs at the breakdown. Exactly what we’ve come to expect from Phil.

Next up we have the stunning, beautiful deep trance mix from Forerunners. It’s truly a masterpiece. Real prog done at it’s best. Warm basslines complemented by beautiful riffs and arps. Fans of Guy J & Guy Mantzur will love this track.

Last but definitely not least is the Derek Howell & Peter Martin Remix. It’s an epic, heads down on the dance floor tune. A dark progressive techno tune with some incredible key changes, this one will destroy any dance floor!
