The year was 1979. A distressed woman in red called out through the darkness of night to the mean streets of Spanish Harlem -- her cries went unanswered. "Give It To Me!" A knife-bearing man shouted at her, referring to the poor woman’s velvet purse. It wasn’t a coincidence that The Bearded Man, clad in white bell-bottoms and snazzy silk blouse trucked in at that exact moment. The knife immediately dropped to the ground as the would-be assailant turned and ran. No one. No one messes with The Bearded Man and gets away with it — except maybe AIMES.
