the latest by Anja Schneider and guest vocalist Parsifal Marin of Brussels Pony Club.

Named after the signature Larry Heard tune that introduced the world to “Jack,” the track is the latest by DJ/producer/radio host/label head Schneider to pay homage to the Chicago greats, following last spring’s Ron Hardy-inspired “Hey,” which became an instant fave when Anja dropped it at the always in demand Mobilee rooftop parties in Barcelona. Expect the same response in summer 2014, when “Can You Feel It,” and flipsides “Dubmission” and “Revolution,” hit the ears of sun-kissed partiers worldwide.

Rising from humble beginnings like Icarus heading towards the skies, Singularity plots its course for the stratosphere as it heads ever onwards and upwards…but unlike Icarus this is a tempered and restrained ascent not an easy task to pull off but one that makes the impact so much stronger for it's subtle, ever evolving simplicity.

With a melody that comes on like a half-remembered memory and lingers long after the sound itself fades away, Singularity stays with you, slowly and carefully weaving its way around you while its drums beat a steady, forceful pulse and its percussion jumps in and out like Billy Pilgrim skipping thru time. The combined effect is something much more than the sum of its parts. Somehow this simple techno tune creates an entire world of its own and asks you to inhabit it for a while, losing yourself in the process..

On the flip side, Monoloc exercises an equal and proportional restraint in his take on things. Like a voice emerging from a faded dream, the melody peeks out behind a curtain of reverb and industrial drums compellingly foreshadowing its full potential. Growing from there, the atmosphere slowly engulfs the listener until finally the slow build up reaches its full force providing a fantastic re-imagining of the original with an almost romantic yet no less powerful conclusion.

After last year's lauded 3-track EP "TOPINAMBUR" we're more than happy to announce @robag_fm's return to SPEICHER. On the A-side, Robag delivers a deep hypnotic chugger that goes by the simple but ultimately affirmative name "YES". In all its simplicity, it's one of those tracks that gently tosses you down the famous rabbit hole. The flip side "CALMA CALMA" is pure summer festival bliss, resurrecting the spine-tingling a cappella from C'Hantal's proto techno classic "The Realm" for the 2020's. Break New Soil continue their immensely successful Breaking New Soil series with volume number six, a four track collection featuring new music from, Maxime Dangles, Dosem & Supernova, Per Hammer and Kernel Key. The label's latest gathering of nations sees two label debuts and the return of some our favourite artists. "All of the tracks featured on this collection, as with all of the previous volumes, have been mainstays of my current DJ sets" says label boss Gregor Tresher. The first of the newbies is France's Maxime Dangles with 'Lyoc'. "This track has been my secret weapon for the last few weeks. Absolutely smashing it each and every time I play it" says Gregor. Label fav Dosem, fresh from the successful release of his new artist album, teams up with fellow countryman, Supanova, on yet another melodic, peak-time smash, 'The Good Way.' A fan of Kernel Key's music, Tresher is happy to welcome him aboard with, 'Init', a track that, he says, displays the Italian producer's "signature grooves" and one that has become a staple in his DJ sets. Maxime Dangles has successfully straddled sounds and genres with certain panache. Having signed his first productions to the legendary Kompakt imprint, he was immediately labeled as the new young starlet of the France's electronic 'avant-garde' scene. But Maxime's music stretches much further and sees him confidently releasing work with a variation of labels. His techier 'big room' sound has seen him feature his music on Affin, Bedrock, Break New Soil and Skryptom among others.

Today Maxime joins the Herzblut family for a special debut release that has already been a staple in the sets of label boss Stephan Bodzin. The four track Oralipse EP is a collection aimed squarely at the biggest floors and a release that again highlights just how comfortable and creative the Frenchman is when producing energetic peaktime material.
