Begining in 2005 as General Dizzarae (waxdj link), Max Doobius, now The Big Funky Couch, has always quested for eccentric and thought-provoking music. Playing a multi-genre style by fusing everything from swing to dubstep, to house & gitch hop. This kid is on the rise and he can always promise a rocking time when hes on the decks. Having a true love for his turntables, The BFC has always put a heavy emphasis on the art of turntabilism. The man has also held down a spot at the Unity Stage at Motion Notion Music Festival in Golden B.C For 2 years in a row. The Big Funky Couch has also opened up for more than a handful of amazing international talent from all over the world by the likes of - Featurecast, Wakcutt, Marten Horger, Parker,LongWalkShortDock,The Freestylers, Random Humanas, Mr. Bill, Defunk, Dj Czech, Funkanomics, Sweatshop Union, Kyprios, Pigeon Hole, Bryx, Riley J, Grossbuster and many more!
