Judges Notes
The artwork that inspired this work is to be found inLiverpool John Moore’s Redmond Building. There are many pieces on display, but this is the only work that is not attributed to an artist. I found the ‘not knowing who you are’ element of the work intriguing.
The work itself is confusing. It resembles a digital TV interrupted signal. Whatever the artist intention that element of confusion conjured images of an interrupted mind. How does dementia for instance manifest itself. Does it look like this image?
So the image combined with ‘the not knowing who you are’ formed the exploration of dementia.

We are a duo from Liverpool featuring two singer song writers Colin Heaney on Cuatro/Vocals, Peter McPartland on Tenor Ukulele/Vocals.  We have been described by Tom Robinson as sounding like Peter Gabriel and Steve Reich doing an acoustic jam.  High praise indeed.
