宇宙の風呂敷

This is a cover of the theme of Ecco Jr. for the Sega Genesis. The original tune was kind of underwhelming and had that sound of a Genesis game that wasn't developed with music as a big draw. You know what I'm talking about? Those sort of really basic-sounding synthesized instruments. The melody, however, I thought was really pretty, if only it weren't for technical limitations... Now, here is my version! 
Of course, a big part of my musical styling, at least when it comes to producing/composing (I'm not sure which one fits >.<), is that I like to use instruments with a theme or sequence it for a specific soundchip. This is actually no different, and it uses my most modern instrument set yet: from Super Mario Sunshine! Let me tell you something, working with samples from games that new is a bit of a headache, and this cover has been coming for a while. You have to consider that that was the point in time when redbook audio became the norm for games, so if there were any games that still streamed music at that point, it would most likely use a very extensive instrument set. But whatever. Enjoy the music!
