Aaliyah Latifah is a 16 year old Singer/songwriter from west midlands, UK. She describes herself as a R&amp;B/Pop artist, but is very versatile and can also adapt to other genres. Having been raised by a family that loved music, singing was what Aaliyah loved doing. Growing up, she realized she wanted a career in music, so started writing songs at the age of 11. She is musically inspired by artists like Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, and of course the singer she was named after Aaliyah Haughton, who sadly died in 2001.

Listening to their music inspired her to write more songs and make great music!

Aaliyah has been recording songs since 2010 and has since noticed, and also been told by supporters, that she is growing as an artist, both vocally and lyrically.

"I write songs that I think people can relate to. Some of the songs I write are about me, and my life, but most are just songs I write to relate to other people's situations.

I try to think outside of the box and be as creative as possible..."

Aaliyah Latifah has appeared in magazines such as Niji mag and Life in color (LIC). She is also in the Top 10 UK R&amp;B/Pop charts via Reverbnation.

Her mix-tape plans have been put on hold, whilst she works on the Push music group mix-tape and focuses on releasing her 1st official single and music video.

She is also working on building her fan base and networking with producers and DJ's from all over the world.
