You know @The-Blockheads right? Legendary New Wave act once fronted by Ian Dury? Celebrating 35 years since 'Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick' was Number One, they've got a new album out called 'Same Horse Different Jockey', and I've remixed a track from it.

The Dr Rubberfunk remix of 'Express Yourself' is released on January 20th as the B-side to 'Boys Will Be Boys', and the band are on a mission to get the single into the UK Top 40 by selling as many downloads as they can in the first week of release, so if you like this mix (the full version is five and a half minutes long, with DJ friendly open drums intro) get out and buy it next week!

The Blockheads took the unusual step of offering the stems to their last album, 'Same Horse Different Jockey' to anyone who wanted to have a go at remixing the tracks. 300 submissions later, and they've whittled it down to a version of each song for the remix album, entitled 'Same Song Different Mix', including remixes by Rui Da Silva (Lisbon Kid, with Danny de Matos), Chaz Bronz and respected Drum and Bass producer Nucleus.

The album is out on November 5th 2014.

02 The Blockheads - Boys Will Be Boys (Crispin Payne Remix)

Miss Baby Sol collaborates with Mercury Prize winner Speech Debelle on her latest solo offering ‘The Future’. 

The song written and inspired by the London Riots of 2011 and the Ferguson Riots of 2014 is produced by long time collaborator Nutty P and co produced by Miss Baby Sol. The single will be accompanied by a powerful visual directed by Global Faction which is due to be released on the 3rd of February 2015. 

The track will be available as a free download for one day only on the 17th of February 2015 via www.soundcloud.com/missbabysol and will be featured on Miss Baby Sol debut album ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ due for release later this year.
