He's always done it his way. On his own terms. Whether it was playing in heavy metal acts or brass bands, it didn't matter. Random Rab has always held his banner high. And on October 9th, when Release is... well... released, the electronic music industry will once again give the man his due and admit, "yup, there's only one Random Rab."

Today, we're thrilled to bring you the title track from the new album. The term "downtempo" belies the majesty, the utter mystical energy of a Rab tune. There's power and poise, subtlety and grace. The sheer intensity of a hypnotizing groove and his cool, crisp vocals carry more force than a thousand blaring subs rattling out the hardest bass grooves. The charts and charts of electronic dance singles can't measure up to the unfathomably deep intention this type of tune evokes. There's just nothing like a new Rab tune. This one is going to be on repeat.

Traveling Spirit - Sri Kala X DJ Taz Rashid [Free Download]

Celebrating the life of Binah Zing, this E.P. was written in the wake of the passing of a brilliant soul, who's life and purpose wove spells of deep magic into the core of my being... 

'Binah's Dream' was created and recorded in the first hours after I learned of my sweet sister/collaborator/muse/ancient friends' death. 'Life As Art', was then written just a few weeks after and produced with Entheo at OneDoorLand, Binah's artist sanctuary. The Remix for 'Unstoppable Joy' was made in her honor, again by very dear friends Entheo (Theo and Amma Grace), who share my love of the exquisite genius elf that is our beloved Binah. 

Words fall short to describe her impact and legacy on my life and on the lives of thousands of others. I offer this music as a gift to our community, to all the ones who loved her deep. May these songs honor her memory and be a reminder of the preciousness of love, the sacredness of soul kin, the power of creativity, and the blessing of living our life as art.

Marya Stark ~ Life As Art (ft. Entheo)

This is remix is an ode to all those hurt by the prison industrial system of the United States, and is dedicated towards transforming the "eye for an eye" retributive justice model towards a restorative justice model - one that strengthens, rather than fractures, communities. 

This remix is based off of two recordings: Rising Appalachia's "Spirit's Cradle" and a reading by the great, late poet Etheridge Knight. "Apology for Apostasy" was one of many poems that Knight wrote while incarcerated, which were originally published in the collection "Poems from Prison." His poems bear witness to the resiliency of the creative spirit. Leah Song, of Rising Appalachia, has been a long time advocate of criminal justice reform and is involved in projects that bring yoga, song and mindfulness into prisons.

Spirit's Cradle

First single released by SEMES. "By the sea" was the first song written by David Block and Mel Semé aka SEMES the very first day they met in Barcelona in 2017.
