"It's a song that has spoken to me my whole life, through a slew of different musical tastes. It roots in a real outdoor setting (as a Stan Jones campfire song) and not just the Camera Cowboy of Hollywood fame, which really give it an allure to me. 

I sang it under the same moon I’ll be looking at tonight, as a point of relation.

The Bootstrap Boys' new EP, Whiskey River/Workin' Man Blues, features three tracks: two studio recordings of the title songs and a live version of "Whiskey River" recorded at The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 5th, 2024. The EP showcases the band's blend of traditional country and bluegrass music, with their energetic live performance adding a unique dimension to the album.
