Title track Jabber Jaws lives up to it’s name with razor sharp midbass ready to slice and dice with the utmost swagger, meanwhile Marrow is a straight up stomper, full of energy, absolutely no nonsense: large bass, crispy mids, punchy drums. Yeuk is where things get really crazy, paranoid stabs overlay machine-gun bass with SERIOUS sub punching through the mix. Hotwheel, pairs super crispy percussive elements, with extremely deep bass for a total audio treat. Overall this is a very rounded release, which is the perfect debut for Sling Wave on DDD. Mark our words, you’ll be seeing a lot more of Sling Wave in 2024 and beyond.
