We are excited to present you the brand new single 'Popping the Clutch' from the amazing French duo Prosper & Stabfinger. 

The song is a heavy weighted nu funk and nu disco boogie banger with hot hip hop - funk vocals and lyrics performed from UK based MC artist Jonie D. The lyrics are made for a ride in a fast car (with a booming system) under the sunshine! A journey from a card table to the nightclub. Popping The Clutch ends with an uplifting thought 'keep your eyes on the sparrow'. 

Timewarp inc is joining forces with his remix version and bringing the dub over the funk. The result is a heavy breakbeat constructed with dub wise vibes. 

The instrumental versions from both original and remix appear on the single release.

'The Fritz is a lovely legend, he always does nice things and only ever thinks happy thoughts. When life serves him lemons, he makes us lemon meringue pie! 

'We’ve had the pleasure of him stalking us in our hometown for some time now, and once, in an outrage over his wonderfulness, we tripped him up at the top of the stairs on purpose. He promptly picked himself up and pointed out that our form was wrong and spent the next three hours making us trip him up until we did it to perfection. He beamed at us through bloody, broken teeth. 

'Unsurprising then that he’s produced an ultra schweet debut EP of utter beauty. Eight years in the making (thanks to Spinforth's notoriously fussy ears) - each track has been stewed and refined to absolute perfection - it’s happy, it’s positive, and emphatically Fritz-y.
