James Bond, an intelligence officer in the Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6, and a Royal Naval Reserve Commander was best known by his code number 007.  The name Bond is quite well known around the world because of the many books and screen plays written about this man's many exciting and true adventures. 
Alexander Couplet was also an intelligence officer in the Secret Intelligence Service MI6 and was a Captain in the Royal Naval Reserve often taking time off from active SIS duty to command military missions under that rank.  Alexander however is not well known even within the ranks of  MI6 and is considerably more discrete that his 007 counterpart.  In all the time he served with MI6 he only came across Bond once and that was the most unfortunate mission of his life.  Couplet was mild mannered on the outside though perhaps not as tailored as Bond but underneath he was a power house of aggressive defensive and offensive measures.  
On this particular mission Bond made it back but Couplet did not.  Bond's version of the mission and what happened is classified "TOP SECRET" so none of us will ever see it and Couplet because he did not come back has no mission report to be reviewed.  Many internal and external investigations have reached dead ends and to this day no one knows what ever happened to 005?

The theme of Homecoming is coming back to our roots and experiencing what we use to know. When we're back at home we know our 'new' lives but we want to see what has changed while we were gone. We want to see old friends and visit all the places we use to hang out; and remember what we use to do.  Driving is quicker to get to the places but the best way to see your old stomping grounds is walking.  You can get back in touch with the environment and really tell what has changed and what has not.  Besides, it's more fun to walk anyway; isn't it? Enjoy.

Of every Life Force physics plays the most important role in our daily lives; or so we believe.  It is the accepted science involving the study of matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. Yet even though it is one of the oldest academic principals how do we know that we can count on physics to be what we understand it to be?...most say we can without a doubt and yet others say we cannot...that physics as a science is not fully defined and there is much to be discovered by others in the future. When those discoveries happen and they will; and when they are proven to be true we will all look back and realize that what we thought was the foundation for our lives and our very existence was in fact nothing more than impetuous physics...an anomaly and pure folly. So live your life as if all is unknown, discover, experiment and live to your fullest.

From the time we are born, people come and go in and out of our lives.  Every one of them leaves us with memories; some good and some not so good.  Often just the smallest thing will stick with us forever.  We remember laughter, smiles and good times and yet when someone departs forever and only memories remain, we choose to remember what brings us the most joy… and because of this “I MISS YOUR SMILE” is dedicated to the fact that I will remember forever just how special you were, my friend; and the joy you brought into my life.

Parallel Realities

You were inimitably captivating; pretty with a passion for music in your heart – one that radiated an otherworldly and yet comfortable warmth to all that were lucky enough to be nearby.  How could I ever forget the first time you stood beside me?  How could I ever forget the magnificence you brought to me in everything you did?  How could I forget all the things we did and all of the adventures we had?  And how could I ever forget the last time I saw you? You were even more beautiful, dressed in blue with a subdued hue of angelic splendor and yet sadness in your eyes.  Our time has passed and so little is remembered as time moves on; but I will never forget the last time I saw you and the look on your face because You Looked So Pretty in Blue.

And when we’re young with more in front than behind we only know what we know; and we don’t know what we don’t know.   
Of course that is all we’ll ever know, isn’t it?  
People come and people go… on and off the train that is our journey.  
Hold on closely to the good; we deserve that don’t we?  
And memories are much easier to savor 
Than things that are not... 
And… they find a better place as memories.

There was a time when no hope existed for either.  All seemed lost and out of control, then in the midst of an unexpected thunderstorm on an unfamiliar street they took cover under an old ripped store awning.  Closing in on each other to avoid the streams of water flowing around them; he nervously said something and she laughed.  They paused, shared a moment and so it began; the whirlwind of emotions and love.  With each day it grew stronger and deeper until neither could see any other way but ‘them’.  They became one and their commitment grew and it was filled with beauty, laughter and togetherness.
Then one day the world changed around them and suddenly they were not the same as they were; and yet they hadn’t changed.  Tensions grew from nowhere and in its divisive way time built a wall between them and each falling stone crushed their love; suffocating them under the growing mass.  They parted, still in love but confused…bewildered.  ‘We will fix this’ they both though; but neither said a word, even though they both had the same words to say.  
Life moved on; in their minds they knew what they wanted and it was the same thing.  But neither spoke for fear of being wrong, so in time the funnel of life sucked them into a world spinning with other people. They once again became alone and wanted nothing except what they had.
But they never had that again and yet they both silently knew “It Should Have Been”… because it was.

A first date with a captivating guest; sitting at a small tucked away table in a dark corner, questioning, exploring, laughing and discovering in what will soon become one of the most memorable nights of your life.  How could either of you ever forget this event.  This is the beginning of a love like you’ve never even dreamed possible and an adventure of a lifetime.  
Emotions fill the air as new lovers share the growing realization that they are meant to be together. 
Only hours before they were both nervous about this meeting and now they are anxious to move forward with a new ‘us’ that didn’t exist those few hours before.  
A love flourishes and grows; a love that started as a tiny spark in “A Small Café”.

If we are lucky enough in life we meet our perfect person.  It’s been over forty years since I met that person.  She is perfect - I am not; I am lucky.   We fell in love, married, had children and have been sharing the most beautiful sides of life even in the ugliest of times.  We have woven this amazing tapestry of life together.  It is more perfect than I ever imagined it could be and every day I am grateful I am this blessed.  This composition is dedicated to our life and the beauty we’ve created through all of our adventures.  This is dedicated to my Nikki, the most beautiful person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing

The Tapestry We Wove Together

When someone that has been very close to us is gone and we have no choice but to accept the reality that they are gone permanently; we force ourselves to accept their absence for the reality that it is.  We know that they will always be in our hearts and we will always remember the times spent together.  
We move on, as best we can, because we must; and though we want to remember those times as if that ‘now’ never ended we know we must accept that it has.  Then, as time drifts past, there are moments that we do forget and then there are periods when all of those memories come surging back as if a tsunami is engulfing us and casting us against the unforgiving shore.  
We begin to count the days of ‘apart’ realizing that we can never forget. Then years pass and we do ‘forget’ and then we don’t… because we can’t.  And we silently mark the days that we remember to forget, or at least try…but we cannot.

I Remembered To Forget You Today

Life brings many changes, some for good and some not so much.  Often sadness comes with changes; even if the changes are positive.  Just the concept of change, especially when unplanned can bring trepidation and anticipation or even deep sorrow.   Losing someone that was significant part of your life and starting over again at any age is difficult as a wash of emotions and confusion rush in and steal your energy.   Forced to accept a change in life that was unplanned; a change in careers or location for whatever reason is also filled with emotion.   What is always important is grasping those ‘New Beginnings’ and making everything that happens from that point on a blessing to you and those around you whether they be friend, family or acquaintances.  Grasp every opportunity and find the good and bring that good into your life and your heart.

What are ‘false memories’?  How common are they?  Do we ever have any and if we do how will we know; how can anyone know?  If you can’t trust your mind what can you trust if anything?  Will there be telltale signs of these false memories and if so, would we even be able to grasp them and even if we did could we understand them and, who knows, possibly do something to change them?
All good questions, if you ask.  
I know that we all think we know which memories are ‘real’, but do we really; and even if we do, what about the Mandela Effect and the impact of ‘mass false memories’.   So perhaps we all believe something that is false and as we explore we struggle with being proven wrong; and that might bring into question every memory we might have; be it a childhood memory or a memory from a past love, or a past disaster…
Did it really happen…was that building really there…did that person really do that…were you really there…did you really act like that?   If there is no plausible way to prove anything either way; HOW will we ever know and that begs the greater question - should we?
Maybe it’s all solid and straightforward or maybe it’s much more complex; or even nonexistent.
Is life fixed; are our memories…or are our memories malleable – and if they are what is real?

False Memories

Deiopea was one of the most beautiful and desirable of the Sea Nymphs (female spirits of the seas; also known as Nereids).
She was one of the daughters of Nereus (“The Old Man of the Sea”), and the Oceanid Doris and was long beholden to be one of Juno's fourteen nymphs that were promised in marriage to Aeolus (The king of The Winds) as payment in return for his help in shipwrecking Trojan refugees.  
Deiopea was in the train of Cyrene along with her sisters, Ephyre, Opis and Arethusa all together there were some 50 daughters of Nereus.  Vergil described Deiopea as most excellent in beauty (or praestanti corpore… meaning having an ‘excellent body’) which made her an ideal wife for a beautiful race of children.
The Nereids in ancient times symbolized everything that was beautiful and kind about the ocean.  The Nereids melodious voices were known far and wide as they sang out with beauty, as they danced around Nereus, in celebration.  Every one of the daughters were known by everyone to be extraordinarily beautiful women, and were frequently crowned with branches of red coral and dressed in white silk robes trimmed with gold; making them the ultimate standard of beauty.
In Folklore they were primarily linked to the Aegean Sea, where they were known to dwell with their father in the depths within his golden palace.
It is with great respect to Deiopea and her beauty that this composition is dedicated.

For The Love Of Deiopea

United, then untied… and severed; and so it too often seems to go with relationships and friendships.  The closest entities can become the most distant; it is a sad part of nature.  It usually takes a series of incidents and feelings to slowly, over time dissolve a once thriving relationship.  And yet in seemingly an instant it can and does happen.  
However or wherever or with whom… when it happens there is a cloud of emotions and memories of struggle and often even relief.  
Remembering those emotions; those that led up to and those that follow the ‘severing’ by both the ‘severing’ and the ‘severed’.  
Captured here in a few minutes; we bring that mixture of emotions; confusion, disbelief, longing, sadness, relief, anger and more.  Allow your mind to feel and remember… as life moves on.

Life, as we all understand, is rarely easy or uncomplicated.  Those extraordinarily simple precious moments often bring a breath of fresh air, and even offer a slight intermission to what might be the chaos of the moment - and yet at the core; complexity is the pain and the joy of living.  It is what makes our lives – our life and our memories.

Appreciate the difference of all seven planes of existence and be capable of savoring the delicate balance of all life.   Find time and space to be alone without interruptions, engage in looking inward and find what is there to be found; whether it be deep and serious, sober and sad or wistful melancholy musing or even the depth of eternal love that fill your mind and your soul; may you be left bursting with beautiful thoughtfulness and spiritual fullness as you expand the depth of your living and your appreciation of life.  Grow.

One of my favorite contemporary artists was and still is Mr. Jay Tronsdale of Tacoma, Washington. Although he is no longer with us, the beauty of all he created on canvas and in people's hearts will remain forever etched on the souls of those that knew him.  This is my very humble way of showing respect and appreciation for all he did for me, through his art; and for the new parts of my mind that I explored through his teaching, example and much too brief friendship.  He was a great man and the Clabastic Artist extraordinaire. (Clabastic was his term for his art -- a tasteful blending of Classical and Abstract).

The incorporation of magical and mystical spells and a supernatural power over others.  When will it come and how will you know; or will you. Perhaps it doesn’t matter because in this case the sorcery of the music will take you on an adventure only limited by your imagination.  This is your adventure because it is your mind and the music is just a smooth comfortable road for you to travel.  Their may be evil doers and dragons and fairy princesses or castles or whatever you want… it’s up to you… enjoy.

We know not from where we start.  We live life for reasons of which we are not sure.  We know not when we die or why.  Where we will go we may or not think we know. The truth is the truth but the truth is unseen until it is seen in the space between now and then; the Transformation is the key.
