In this episode Matt plunders the high seas, a bottle of grog in one hand and a hidden blade in the other in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, he then travels far to the old English town of Nottingham to smuggle and bluff his way to victory in Sheriff of Nottingham, and finally he logs on to Youtube, and sits back to enjoy the comedy gem that is Markiplier. Meanwhile, Andrew and his band of merry knights crash down the gates of the mightiest castles in Castle Crashers, he then hops through time and space to roll dice and colonise the 1960’s pulp science fiction world of Alien Frontiers, finally he dons his royal seal and takes up his assassins tools as he tries to survive deadly court intrigue in Royal Assassin. 

Episode 17 - Sheriff Von Dokel

In this episode Andrew struggles to survive as he blasts his way across the galaxy with those pesky rebels on his tail in FTL: Faster Than Light, he then heads back down to Earth to do do battle with the megacorps of the future in the brutal dystopian cyberpunk world of Android: Netrunner, finally after a run gone bad Andrew hightails it back to the far reaches of space and lands himself a job as a Space Janitor. Meanwhile Matt centres himself and channels his inner pinball master in Zen Pinball 2, he then heads off to the middle east to practice his mercantile prowess in Istanbul, finally he travels to Jakarta to crack skulls and break bones in the lightning fast martial arts epic that is The Raid 2.  

Episode 18 - Faster Than Leather

The Cardboard Console is a UK based podcast hosted by Andrew Haywood and Matthew Simpson. Each week we discuss the things that have impacted us in the world of video games and board games. We also have a special wildcard section where we discuss other topics outside of gaming, this can be anything ranging through TV, movies, books, music, events, or even other podcast's.
