The Casual Menace Presents Tape 100 - Floating At Pikes

First Matter is the opening vault in the periodic table series, tracing the first eighteen elements as distinct instrumental portraits. The volume begins in sparse gas, light, and suspended space, then gradually gathers structure, pressure, heat, and chemical bite. Each track behaves like its element rather than explaining it: Hydrogen glows in near-emptiness, Helium lifts, Lithium flickers, Carbon anchors, Oxygen widens, Fluorine cuts, Neon shines cold against the dark, Sodium flashes, Silicon patterns itself into lucid architecture, and Argon closes the set in rarefied stillness. The result is a cinematic elemental atlas where every cue stands alone, but the whole volume feels like one chamber of matter learning how to exist.
