Guardo en mi pueblo la casa
donde vi la primera luz;
y aunque está vieja y ajada
obra de la decrepitud,
aún conserva su estampa
elegante y llena de luz.

El musgo cubre sus tejas
dándole un encanto especial;
el corral lleno de hierba
no es aquél de tiempos atrás:
el de aquellas noches de “fresca”
en familia con luna estival.

Bajo su techo nací
sus paredes me vieron crecer
por su viejo suelo di
mis primeros pasos
buscando unos brazos
