Seventy Sevens

i grew up listening to oldies radio. played in local rock bands in highschool. helped found a band called hands (facedown records) and we spent a couple of years in a van playing shows for scene kids who "didn't get it". we put out a few records that at least a handful of people thought were pretty alright. somewhere in that general timeframe i released an album of christian-hippie folk music. i now front an experimental alternative-rock band called glower (broken circles, veritas vinyl). we shoot for a sound that falls somewhere between the beach boys and the smashing pumpkins. however, we all live in different towns so we don't get together much. hence, the need for yet another creative outlet. this is it.

i suppose i should warn you, things might get a bit weird at times. i have some fairly diverse influences and my creative process tends to involve me just rolling with my intuitive artistic impulses. sometimes that turns out great. other times... not so much. Also, everything you hear is being recorded raw through one mic in a basement with a free program called audacity, so the production values are pretty much non-existent. no studio magic. just magic. come at it with an open mind and you just might enjoy this stuff. peace.
