Starting from an early age Michael worked alongside his parents at their hotels in Scotland before venturing to the US to work with Four Seasons & Resorts for 10 years. Working at iconic hotels such as The Pierre and the Four Seasons in New York and opening restaurants including L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon.

On returning to London, Michael began his British career at Claridge’s as the F&B Manager and went on to become the Hotel Manager of this iconic hotel. After four years at Claridge’s, Michael opened Rosewood London, a highly anticipated opening of this ultra-luxury hotel brand.

LMH MD Jemma Lester will be speaking to Michael about his journey to date, how the hospitality industry has fared in recent times and exciting developments for The Rosewood London as it starts to prepare to re-open in April.
