Humanity always was curious and we always wandered and explored wherever we went, nowadays we want to venture out in space, even though we don't know what lurks under the seas. Beware the oceans.

Inspired by both the Cthulhu Mythos refering to the Deep Old Ones, imagined by Lovecraft's dreams. And also it shares the same name of the "not so famous" XCOM: Terror From The Deep game, from which i found the image among google pictures in another word based search.

This is actually a remake of an old unfinished track, that didn't sound really like the finished V6.0 version that this is. I had to cut, add, remove, and rethink a couple things along the way. But still, i enjoyed revisiting that track and finally releasing it for the first time ever, tonight!

Terror From The Deep

2022 rearrangement of Part1 & 2. Main idea is related to the Zetatech Atlus Anti-Gravity vehicles & the Trauma Teams within the Cyberpunk Universe. Starts off with an Alarm, followed by a message with coordinates. The rest lies with your imagination.

Track was thought as a production line, set in a dystopic factory where the repetitive motion of men & machines, in their cyclic activities, become interrupted.

The whole concept (related to actual processes of Re-Thinking the City / Rebel Cities (entre lo sostenible y lo sustentable)); was following a main character in his daily routine, entering his antigrav vehicle, then when the garage opens the intro ends, and since the protagonist resides in the middle of the entertainment district of the city, the sound of passers-by, of movement and market-related society is omnipresent.
The idea at the intro was thought with the "Metro City Slums" lead synth from Final Fight in mind. The overall idea was an overview of the city, driving around, going to different parts of the megalopolis. (hence the concept art, found through deviantart or pinterest (from Frank Hong)). An explosion of chaotic urban setting, using mostly GTG-44-S, Oberon-8, Analog Warfare 3, Alphatron, T2 Firebird & FM8.

The Outro wasn't thoroughly planned, you'll either like it or not.

Imagine if you like, the sounds cash registers in the middle of a bustling marketplace next to the docks, cafés and stores slowly opening their shops in the morning, warehouses & depots sending daily delivery trucks. Then in the evening, an entirely different environment emerges from the sunset nightsky. All the while, ships come and go, with the sound of their horns in the distance.
