MINDSCAPE brings his unique and fierce take on d&b back to his home label with REANIMATOR CHAPTER ONE on EATBRAIN, the first part of a series of 3 EPs, that culminate in the REANIMATOR LP. As one of the imprint’s most recognisable figureheads, Mindscape deftly demonstrates why that’s the case with the 4 tracks within delivering distinct and succinctly powerful ideas to the table. MANBEARPIG carries a swagger dripping with pure and deliberately paced attitude, whilst SHUT DOWN (feat. COPPA) rides on a fast-moving bassline and percussive flurry. FIEND OR FOE executes an effective low-key roller laced with a sinister and restrained edge and DEEP VOID carries the menace of HIJAK’s vocal with exceptional effectiveness.

The beginning of https://soundcloud.com/0101music gave an insight into just how imperative the label was to become within the 
independent drum & bass world. Launching off the back of Maztek’s ‘Warpath’ LP, its motives were clear 
from the outset. It also set a standard for the creative freedom which would not only be afforded to Maztek, 
but to the artists who Maztek brought into the imprint for its widening collection of releases. Leading the 
label’s charge, Maztek has his own decorated history within the genre so it made sense for him to engineer 
his own platform in which to showcase the music he recites during his global touring schedule, as well as 
the artists which have given him inspiration in the last few years of his career.
For the next release on 0101 Music, Maztek delivers an EP from Ukrainian and Russian duo Bad District. 
Having garnered the interest of tastemakers on the likes of Bad Taste and Major League, they’re about to 
expand their influence even further. However their sound has already been seeping into the sets of 
supportive heavyweights such as Noisia and they’ve been premiered on the pivotal Rene LaVice BBC Radio 
1 show, which has gained them access to an even wider audience. And this is just one more reason why their 
forthcoming ‘Hyper Drone’ EP is another big endeavour for the 0101 Music moniker.
Whether it’s the riotous percussive slabs of ‘Hyper Drone’, or the steppy beats and throbbing drum 
sequences of ‘Charger’, neither member of Bad District water down their sonics for this offering. ‘Lost 
Control’ alludes to its name through a winding bassline and cutting kicks, dropping you thick and fast through 
distorted metallics and a snaring groove. Then ‘Voodoo Hardware’ follows its sweeping atmospherics with 
cutting stabs which add to the track’s unforgiving mix. The EP fully encompasses Bad District and what 
they’re about as drum & bass producers. They share the same ethos as Maztek, which is why he’s brought 
them into the 0101 Music roster without hesitation. A final step towards the New Year, it’s an EP which will 
realign listeners with what 0101 Music has given them since its creation.

Wesley Barbosa, nome por trás do projeto Parallel, é músico (estudou desde os 8 anos de idade) e apreciador de vários gêneros musicais. Desde 2014 na cena, seus sets atravessam os estilos, do comercial ao pouco conhecido, do house aos híbridos e experimentais, tendo como proposta a quebra de conceitos e união dos estilos. Sempre buscando novas influências, tem raízes fortes no trap e no dubstep, adicionando pitadas de outras vertentes não rotuladas, porém sempre buscando as baixas frequências. Hoje trabalha, como vertentes principais em suas seleções, com o bass house limpo e grooveado e o hybrid trap agressivo e acelerado. Fora da discotecagem, já fez trabalhos de curadoria musical e em 2017 passou a ser redator em um site especializado em música eletrônica grave. Seus sets já passaram por casas como Espaço Elevate, Mono Club, Trackers e Club 33.

Wesley Barbosa, the name behind Parallel, is a musician and a lover of many genres and music styles. His sets walk through the styles, from commercial to barely known, from Pop EDM to hybrid and experimental, with the purpose of breaking concepts and joining music styles together. In an unstoppable search for new influences, he has deep roots in trap and dubstep, adding a little bit of future beats, footwork and other unlabeled styles, but always looking forward for the low frequences.

The Clamps, born Julien Carbou, is a French Drum & Bass producer and DJ established in Toulouse. Since starting his music career through several musical projects in the late 90s, he has become known for his unique and heavy sound that blends elements of Drum & Bass, Techno, and Industrial Music.

With a string of releases on respected labels such as Trendkill Records, Kosen Production and Eatbrain, The Clamps has established himself as a prominent figure in the Drum & Bass scene. His music is characterized by its intricate sound design, intense energy, and expertly crafted basslines that have earned him a dedicated following.
