As the arrangement unfolds, a dramatic classical switch reshapes the atmosphere, momentarily suspending the intensity before diving back into the track’s central motif. The breakdown pulls the energy into a moment of calm, luring the listener into a false sense of security before unleashing a second drop that is both forceful and emotionally resonant—highlighting just how far Magnetude stretch the emotional range of their sound while maintaining dancefloor power at its core.

After consuming the primeval energies of an entire planetoid, the gargantuan interstellar being had wandered the stars for a time. At its core churned the life forces of one trillion beings, subsumed and intertwined by the nature of its interdimensional existence. The singularity of consciousness that lay at its core was thus one of cacophony & discord, as those of strongest will that still clung to some faint inkling of individuality sought to exert their influence over all others, pushing upwards amidst the maddening din of psychic energy and drowning those beneath them in turn.

In willful ignorance of the chaos that churned within it, the great being had come to rest in the orbit of a distant star, beginning a hibernation that would last for eons as the life that raged within began to slowly seep to the surface. Thus came new life upon the surface of the beings slumbering body, born from the original images of all that which the behemoth had consumed and wrought into entirely new forms by the crucible at its core. In an age to come, the being would wake again, consuming the distant ancestors of the life that it had now born into existence. For the current age, its duty had been fulfilled - the cycle of DIVERGENCE had been carried out once more.

Centuries had passed since the initial arrival of the extraterrestrial sonic emitter on the planet’s surface, and the culture of the beings who inhabited that world had evolved much since the initial encounter. They now composed great musical works of their own, and over time, the alien device had come to lie forgotten, buried beneath the dense jungle floor and still festooned by the decorative textiles that its original inheritors had attached to celebrate its wondrous powers. Here it lay for ages until, in searching for the origins of their ancestors, a group of explorers discovered the idol of the bass cult once more.

The discovery was at first one of bemusement - an obvious hoax played by a rival expedition, perhaps. For so fine a speaker to be discovered so far from modern civilization was an absurd concept. Yet there was something about the craftsmanship, an intricate, spiraling pattern etched into its enclosure that was mirrored in the artworks of the ancient peoples of these lands. Their ancestors could not have crafted such a device, so where then could it have come from? As the leader of the expedition lifted it from the soil, the device rang out with a sonorous & soothing hum, enrapturing all those who stood gathered before their new discovery as it rattled their bodies with low-frequency sound. Thus it was that THE CULT OF BASS was born anew, and the alien artifact’s powers were resurgent once again

Desde 2014 na cena, seus sets atravessam os estilos, do comercial ao pouco conhecido, do house aos híbridos e experimentais, tendo como proposta a quebra de conceitos e união dos estilos. Sempre buscando novas influências, tem raízes fortes no trap e no dubstep, adicionando pitadas de outras vertentes não rotuladas, porém sempre buscando as baixas frequências. Hoje trabalha, como vertentes principais em suas seleções, com o bass house limpo e grooveado e o hybrid trap agressivo e acelerado. Fora da discotecagem, já fez trabalhos de curadoria musical e em 2017 passou a ser redator em um site especializado em música eletrônica grave. Wesley Barbosa, the name behind Parallel, is a musician and a lover of many genres and music styles. His sets walk through the styles, from commercial to barely known, from Pop EDM to hybrid and experimental, with the purpose of breaking concepts and joining music styles together. In an unstoppable search for new influences, he has deep roots in trap and dubstep, adding a little bit of future beats, footwork and other unlabeled styles, but always looking forward for the low frequences.

The Clamps, born Julien Carbou, is a French Drum & Bass producer and DJ established in Toulouse. Since starting his music career through several musical projects in the late 90s, he has become known for his unique and heavy sound that blends elements of Drum & Bass, Techno, and Industrial Music.

With a string of releases on respected labels such as Trendkill Records, Kosen Production and Eatbrain, The Clamps has established himself as a prominent figure in the Drum & Bass scene.
