F*CLR Music are proud to present Irish producer/DJ, Glenn Davis and his debut 5 track digital release with F*CLR -  a deep soulful affair aimed firmly at the dance floor fusing his love of all things Chicago, Detroit & NYC. The title track ‘Body & Soul’ has its roots firmly in the Strictly Rhythm/Nu Groove groove – a lush, organ driven banger that is guaranteed to incite hands in the air mayhem. Ashley Beedle & the North Street crew put a different spin on ‘Body & Soul’ giving it a spaced out, Balearic feel while ‘I ain’t got nothing’ has got attitude and then some. The held string, melancholy chords and beautifully ethereal vocals take you to that tiny, dimly lit backstreet club in your mind - you’ve all been there – the one you never want to leave. The gasping interjections on ‘I feel it’ are underpinned by ominous synths while ‘Emotional Intelligence’ takes you in an even darker Detroit direction. The whole EP is beautifully crafted by Glenn and has already had major props from the likes of Terry Farley and Gilles Petereson.

Earliest musical influences come from The Jam, James Brown, Motown and 80's New Wave and at 16, Glenn got the vinyl bug and when Mark Dixon opened Dublin’s Phuture Groove Records in the mid 90’s, he was able to indulge in his passion for deep house & techno. Labels like Balance, Prescription, U Star, MA, Ibadan, Planet E, Op Art, 100% Pure and Ferox all helped shape his later compositions.

Glenn's first gig was playing for the D1 Records night in early 2000's - primarily a Detroit techno night featuring some of the upcoming DJs from the techno underground - UR, DJ Bone, Octave One Claude Young and Rub a Dub Records. In 2005, he got together with his mates and, inspired by trips to the legendary Southport Soul Weekender, they formed Groovement Soul running club nights with a deeper, soulful jazz house sound and bringing some of their favourite DJ’s to play in Dublin.

Over the last 15 years, Glenn has had residencies in Dublin, played at the Oxygen & Electric Picnic festivals, represented at the 2013/14 Southport Weekenders and played alongside DJ’s including Recloose, Dr Bob Jones, Benji B, Kev Beadle, Moscow producer Lay Far and Thatmanmonkz.

In October 2017, Manchester based Ele Records released an EP featuring Glenn’s ‘Holdin’ On’ track and ‘Planet Rock’ by the mighty Byron the Aquarius.

Through his music, and his own record label Soluble Recordings, he has worked with an incredible range of coolest artists such as Jocelyn Brown, Michelle Weeks, Dj Spen, Hector Romero, Franco de Mulero, Giom, Asad Rizvi, Lovebirds, Jaydee, Oscar P, Jay Tripwire, Harold Heath, Evren Ulusoy, Soul Minority, Soul de Marin, Jake Childs, Dj Wady, Louie Austen and many others. His ever groovy productions and dj sets gained him an international recognition, and allowed him to play at some great clubs and festivals in Miami, Ibiza, UK, Ireland, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and his native Slovakia. In March 2015 he promoted his music at Miami WMC, getting great recognition from artists such as David Morales, Louie Vega, Cystal Waters, Miguel Migs, Barbara Tucker, Todd Terry , just to name a few. Bollo keeps applying his skills day after day in the studio a as well as behind the decks, playing regular sets at many venues around the island like Bambuddha, Coco Beach Club, Eden, Bora Bora, Savannah, Villa Mercedes, Hush Club, Pura Vida, Uttopia Resort, Bay Bar, The Beach and continues building a great reputation on the international house music scene.

A few months after the release of the first reference of his own imprint 'Night Shift Records' and after selling all the stock quickly, Madrid DJ and producer Javi Frias is back again with the second EP on his label. During this time he was number 1 sales at Juno with his first 7" on Disco Pocho and got a big success with his edit of Susana Estrada classic 'Quitate El Sosten'.

This time he's back to the razor blade to deliver a four track 12"" entitled 'Move To The Groove', keeping the spirit of classic editing art in good shape. The EP includes four songs that have never been edited before, wisely chosen from among those hidden gems that surely needs some light and love. On the A side we have 'Tender Feeling', an amazing groove based on a soulful sample over a disco house rhythm with perfect vocal harmonies, and 'Move To The Groove', the perfect example of a dancefloor tune, furious disco funk full of horns and percussion.AThe B side starts with 'Supah Stah', classic disco sound with a wonderful female vocals and strong rhythm section plenty of breakdowns and funky basslines. The EP ends with 'Swahili Dance', and obscure afro disco tune retouched and extended for the maximum dancefloor pleasure.
