So, ironically...digging around my archives (my old hard-drives), I came across this session that I did with a fellow Cornishman, the supremely excellent lap-tapping guitarist, Tony Haven...which we entitled 'Archives'.

We started chatting about doing some vocals over one of his tracks, so this was the resulting demo...which we just kept...and until today, didn't ever put out.

So, in tribute to Tony's talent...and because I like the song...and because I came across it again after some 6 years...
Here it is!

Tony is an immense talent, and I've shared a stage with him once or twice.
Think Eric Mongrain, Andy McKee and John Gomm, in terms of playing. 
Excellent style and technique.

Watching him play is the best part...two guitars, tapping and a great sense of melody.

I reminisce sometimes about the past, as many of us do.

I sometimes like to revisit those days where, perhaps, things were simpler...but when you go looking into the past, you can unearth things you didn't want to revisit.

But, working on these things is what 'self development' is all about, I'd hazard.

So, go on...delve into the past, dig up some stuff and try to find out why it hurt then and why it still holds weight now...and then, do you best to let that s**t go. 
You don't need to carry that weight with you all you life.

'One Last One For The Summer' is an (acid) trip down memory lane...to put some ghosts to rest.

I find that due to working for clients and companies that want nice, clean-sounding and wholesome music...I sometimes forget my dark side.

So, tonight...I drunk some alcohol and made some horrendous noise using some old-school synths and samples.

And I loved it.
