"Best of Oxygen vol. 1 " is our first real co-op mixtape we present to the public as a DJ-turntablist - duo, Cut Beetlez. This mixtape was commissioned by the artist himself - Oxygen, The Ox That Rocks, Ox The Architect - one of our first real supporters whom we respect to the highest level.

The mixtape features Oxygen's work from his earliest records to his latest works. It also includes TWO EXCLUSIVE REMIXES by us, Cut Beetlez.

Big shout out out to all producers and artists included in this tape and a BIG thank you to all people who reached back to as and showed some love on the tape.

This is our first bigger contribution to hip-hop, the culture we support and love. And as the name of the tape suggest, this journey will continue.

First released in super limited quantities in c-cassette format to be traded hand to hand by Oxygen himself at Beat Swap Meet L.A on March 17th 2019.

"Bars" is the new single by the producer duo Cut Beetlez featuring underground legend REKS on the lyricals. Track has REKS displaying his infinite alphabetical agility while Beetlez take the equipment past breaking point with some renaissance style scratching, No seconds are wasted and the collaboration wreaks havoc on eardrums, in a good way for real hip-hop lovers..

This single is the second and last single off the upcoming Cut Beetlez album "What Beetlez!?" - scheduled to drop this year on vinyl through www.ae-productions.co.uk -label.

"Bars" and it's instrumental is available for download on Bandcamp only at the moment for free, but will soon be on all streaming services worldwide alongside with a music video.

Where was my mind at all of this volatile 2020?  As far as politics go, all over the place! I’m sure a majority of people felt the same. A pot of racial issues boils over, injustices within the system, political polarization, media fanning any flame they can, and a government that can’t seem to fully practice the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that its nation was founded on.  The message and feeling behind this record comes from a place of chaos.  It’s not a political statement; it’s me translating the overall vibe that the 2020 political atmosphere gave off.  I think a lot of us were struggling internally during 2020, and it became harder to deal with those problems because of how much we were getting tagged externally. 

Wake up to a “Did you vote?” -texts from random numbers, get on social media and scroll through countless people arguing their opinion, views, interests and beliefs, watch TV and see an ad telling you to vote for this government official, then literally the very next ad is telling you not to vote for that same official, media throwing this narrative at you, and that one, and those ones. It felt so chaotic trying navigating through that atmosphere and that is what inspired me to write this.  The track doesn’t really slow down because it’s reciprocating the energy given that made it. I chose the name “Amirrorca” to reflect that message. What this country does has a major effect on all of us, it reflects on all of us.  The country is also a reflection of us to the outside world, a mirror, with that in mind I came up with  America / Amirrorca .
