My old band. Last 20 seconds was my favourite bit. Theres probably 20 odd guitar tracks layered in there. Following my history of home recordings, we built an iso-booth in my bedroom and recorded most of the extra guitar tracks and a lot of the vocals in there. The bulk of it was recorded at Complex Studios in Thornbury, Melbourne, where all the metal bands record. It was cool.

Artist Proof are super great guys and make excellent recordings. This was  more on the sessional work side of things for me. Laid down my parts for the double A side in a few takes after we got the tone right (which took about 5 minutes - Gibson LP bass straight into the SSL - awesome).

Artist Proof - Change On The Wind - 2012

Old. When I was at music school. A lot of partying and friend making. This band was a whole lot of fun. This was on of my favourite ones to play. Warts and all gives this a cool vibe. Warren, the trumpet player and all round musical genius, recorded this in his bedroom (a good effort for a bunch of hack kids!). If you look up Australian Ska on Wikipedia, this band gets a mention; and no, I didn't put it there.

User Friendly - Last To Know - 2002/3

I'm the lower of the two basses in this band. This is the first rough mix. Recorded live (all in the same room, not at a gig), this has heaps of vibe though. Listen LOUD on a good stereo with a decent sub, or on reference monitors if you have 'em. It gets pretty chunky in parts. I love this band and am more proud of it than anything I've ever done before.
