
In a world increasingly dependent on plastic boy bands and casting show survivors, if The Dead Lovers didn't exist somebody would have to invent them. With more self assurance than a New York cab driver and cooler than a camping holiday in winter, they have truly found their niche.

Their sound is retro, sexy and utterly provocative. It steals from the 50s and the 60s, but remains contemporary, extremely fresh and viciously irresistible. If Morricone, Amy Winehouse and Jack White were forced to write and record songs together in a small tent, this is how it might sound.

Since their birth as a band last summer they have recently provided two title songs for major TV shows in Germany, and produced six tracks for a seminal German cinema film including the title song.
