Then summer comes and you stumble across that feeling of new love again and even though you think you probably shouldn’t, and it’s probably too soon, you let yourself return to that warmth. Something Good

Lakehouse is a very special song to us and the most emotionally raw on the EP. It’s an ode to the paradox of fearing vulnerability whilst longing for connection. Sometimes the words are just too heavy to say out loud.

We wrote this about a boy who never quite made piece with adult hood. Its an ode to the child within us all who doesn't want to grow up.

Lost Boy

We wrote this in response to the barrage of news stories about violence against women. It leaves a bitter taste and an ever-present tingle of fear when stepping out the door in the dark. Maybe you feel it too?

A lot of the footage in this video was filmed at the Manchester Walk for Women, 2023. Thanks to all you lovely folk who agreed to be in it!

We have a friend called Margo who, during lockdown, suffered severe mental health challenges. It was a very difficult time for her & her friends and family. Margo decided to permanently move from London to a small house by the sea on the North Coast of Scotland to try and heal in any way she could. It was there she started surfing. Soon she was spending hours every day in the cold waves of the North Sea. Every day she felt a little better. In the end, surfing saved her life. This song is for her and all those who have sought solace in nature

Across the period of 2010-2017, these four women left home. Left their sisters, left their parents and the safety net of familiarity. Swapped them for breeze block student halls, red brick labyrinths and beaten-up trainers, no match for Manchester puddles. Did we know when we left home we would not be returning? No. Did you? I know we’re supposed to be adulting now but there’s still a home-shaped hole in all of our hearts.
