Our latest VA compilation arrives in time for the renowned Miami Music Week featuring a wave of new faces and returning talent from around the globe. 

The world-renowned Miami Music Week returns in its entirety in 2022. What better way to celebrate it than a compilation to mark the occasion? Making up our MMW VA, we welcome a host of international acts to the stage as they share an array of forward-thinking underground cuts!

Teknically Speaking blow the door wide open with ‘Titled’, bringing swinging grooves, jazzy melodies and soulful vocal arrangements to create a certified vibe-builder. ‘Look Out’ follows with Chris Brooks and Martin Bordacahar turning out a terrace-geared percussive jam with bottom-heavy beats, subtle harmonies and hooky vox constructions. Simon Salazar’s ‘Fergilicious’ ramps up the pace with driving rhythms and pulsating bass notes and a nostalgic vocal topline, churning out a guaranteed dancefloor heater - also accompanied by a stripped-back ‘Dub Mix’.

MartinoResi, Baraçal and Marcelo keep up the tempo with more percussive-driven mastery on ‘Tombo’, delivering a groove-laden mix of sturdy drums, captivating melodic factors and sultry vocal runs. Ivan Zorzolo and Julio Bravo’s ‘Crashed’ takes a deep dive, stripping back the energy and emphasising an underground feel via a heavyset kick and sub combo, scattered percs and glitchy sampling. Matt Arnold’s ‘Hero Or Nero’ showcases his increasingly-popular audio signature of tribal-tinged rolling beats and blossoming musicality, bringing weighty terrace rhythms and vivid injections of harmony from end to end.

JXR’s ‘Euphoria’ builds around layers of gritty leads, pads, and bass notes alongside punchy drum work and fizzing hat sequences for an undeniably danceable and charismatic cut. ‘Liket’ sees Matías Schaller dip back into the heavier end of the spectrum with colossal rhythmic sub-bass and big-room appeal from the outset, making it a prime time playlist pick. JP Torres closes the compilation with ‘Oh Right!’, keeping the energy at a resounding high level with a vocally-driven dancefloor weapon full of riveting cadence and unwavering intrigue from the very start.

Bamboleo Records keeps the ball rolling by presenting its 25th sizzling digital release. Hailing from the South of Italy but now based in the vibrant city of London, On-Off has been one of the key figures for the new underground Fabric project called Rave Rabbit, followed by several gigs in the most profiling venues of the UK capital. For his debut work on the label, Onofrio joins forces with the talented half-Italian, half-British singer Iza Visconti for the entitled 'Follow Me' EP, packed with a remix by EASTENDERZ regular Rigzz. On-Off and Iza met a year ago, and since then, they started collaborating in the studio. 'Follow Me' is the first track they made together and officially establishes the start of their musical journey. Both the originals offer rich, rubbery low-ends, drips of acid, raw drum licks, silky yet soulful vocals, shuffling drums, and bouncy baselines for two certified groovers built for those sun-soaked terrace moments. Rounding off the package, Argentinian talent Rigzz rises the tempo for a 4/4 bass-driven remix of 'Feel The Vibe', opting for menacing grooves, punchy kicks, and trippy atmospherics that will keep your feet steady on the dancefloor.

One of the most exciting up and coming artists of recent times, Detlef makes his debut on the mighty Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail EP’ featuring three jacking bombs plotting a riot on the dance floor.

In a short space of time Detlef shot into the limelight with releases and remixes for well-respected labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected. Equally at home behind the decks as he is in the studio, the unique party vibe that he brings to his live and DJ sets quickly earned his place as a regular VIVa Warriors resident.
