The song takes place in a world where the boundaries between humans and machines have blurred. Memory is unstable, identity is fractured, and consciousness flickers like a dying radio signal.
Somewhere in this broken technological wasteland, there is a voice — or perhaps a presence — that refuses to let the protagonist vanish into static.

This presence isn’t human.
It isn’t machine.
It’s a sentinel born out of forgotten transmissions, a guardian that emerged from the ruins of lost communication networks.

The protagonist believes they’re stranded in total isolation, wandering through a dead, metallic world. But the sentinel follows them through the cables, through corrupted data streams, through the hum of broken devices. The world tries to consume them with silence, but the sentinel constantly re-establishes contact, whispering through distorted frequencies:

You were never alone.
Even here.
Even now.

The song is essentially the last working transmission between a collapsing mind and the one presence that refuses to abandon it.
