You’re a few minutes away from watching your favorite band perform, you’ve just bought a new instrument and can’t wait to get home and play on it, you’re in an airport, waiting to get on that plane which will take you home. But you know that there’s a small part of you which is guiltily savoring the wait, some little corner of your mind that is enjoying the suspense. That is what Anticipation is all about.

5. Anticipation (First Flight)

Starting off as a chord-drum-bass jam inspired by the nightly servings of coffee during exams week in the D-block hostels of Vellore Institute of Technology, this song has since been infused with the crisp, emotive sounds of Varadarajan’s violins, adding the perfect ingredient to complete the rich brew.
