The tail end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 saw the band make some waves in the local music scene as they secured some noteworthy supporting slots with acts such as Falkirk legends "The Ray Summers", former "Seahorses" front man "Chris Helme" and Glasgow's hot prospects "The River 68's" to name a few. That coupled with a triumphant display at Glasgow's famous Barrowlands venue signed off a very
impressive start to this bands assault on the UK music circuit.

In 2012 The Difference continued to spread their musical wings, they played a sold out show supporting Scottish rockers "The Law", the prestigious In-Store session at Glasgow's Pretty Green boutique,a sold out show at Glasgow's world famous King Tut's(supporting Life in Film)Many shows around the country topped of with sold out show after sold out show at their spiritual home 20 Rocks in Falkirk.

The band have been busy in the recording studio as of the beginning of 2013 and their début E.P which is available from ITunes now!

2013 The Difference smashed a sold out headline show in Feb at Glasgow's "The Garage" and have had a blast tearing up the festival circuit with shows at Glasgow's "Garage" on Apr 27th as part of PMCJ Events Hijack Festival and then onto Stereofunk Festival 2013 on May 5th at Strathclyde Park followed by a show at Dundee's 20Rocks venue to support Dundee rockers "The View" on May 12th and bringing their sounds to the masses!

Aspirations for 2014 are to play as many shows/festivals as possible, continue on the road around the UK starting at home in Falkirk's North Star venue(28/02/14) then onto Glasgow's famous Nice N Sleazy(15/03/2014) and to continue growing our faithful fan base without them none of this could be achieved.
