Chris Duckenfield is responsible for some of the best house music to ever be made in the UK. Under a slew of aliases he's released house bombs as Swag and abstract electronica as RAC on Warp Records. He has owned two record labels and now in a world of ever increasing digital music domination, he has started a vinyl distribution label. Born and raised in Sheffield, the Duck is also one ofthe most respected DJs in the world, playing everywhere from Fabric in London and Panorama bar in Berlin, to small intimate parties in Australia. The man is certainly made of steel.

In May 2005, The Dirty Disco was started at the Northern Light by Foz, Stu and Lizard. 

The next 6 years was a huge adventure. What started as a bit of fun soon turned into something huge an was well known all over the UK and beyond. 

Cutting edge lineups and sometimes 6 amazing headliners and 12 residents playing over the 3 rooms, started to attract 2000+ people every month.

We are extremely excited to be bringing back Dirty Disco this year for a special one off party to celebrate what would be our 10th Anniversary.
