Asheville NC native, Singer/Songwriter/mutli-instrumentalist, Jonathan Clark (The Dolt Jack Narna) plays a variety of styles and tones of music on a variety of instruments, but has a distinct inclination toward classics and the purer mediums of traditional acoustics.
Comming from a firm background in classic rock, punk, blues, jazz, soul, alternative, rock, classical, and standards, an interest in arranging multiple parts and nuanced harmonies has led him, eventually, to have experienced Most instruments in the traditional cannon in one form or another.  Lately, as indeed with Most of the instruments thus far experienced, he has been persuing the medium of the piano; teaching himself from the overall background in theory gleaned over years of experience and self study.
In an era where music has become formulaic, overcorrected, and eternally auto-tuned, The Dolt Jack Narna takes a deep satisfaction in the subtle nuance of True Performance, and the beautiful 'imperfection' of real experience.  Never auto corrected or overpolished, a certain Jazz sensibility underlies his work, and a deep love of the etheric creation of musical 'atmosphere' and the vaporus instance of the act itsself.
Upwards of 15+ years of musical performance has given him a longview, and a breadth of experience which sees the greater act of creating works of musical Art instead of a manic passion for fame and money.  His biggest flaw, if any, is a contentment with performing for himself and his cats alone, in the late dark of a quiet spot.  A location of maximum peace and harmony, but unfortunately, not also one of great wealth or grand successes.  :)
