In Classical Greek, Metanoia meant changing one's mind about someone or something -  to expand it in such a way as to have a new perspective on the world or one’s self.

When personified, Metanoia was depicted as a shadowy goddess, cloaked and sorrowful, who accompanied Kairos, the god of Opportunity, sowing regret and inspiring repentance for the "missed moment".

Inspired by the fascinating and terrifying planet,Trisolaris from the acclaimed science fiction novel "The Three-Body Problem" by Liu Cixin. 

With three suns that orbit each other in an unpredictable pattern causing extreme fluctuations in temperature and weather, including frequent scorching heat, freezing cold, and violent storms lasting for decades and despite its inhospitable nature, Trisolaris is home to an advanced alien civilization called the Trisolarans. 

Possessing great creativity and innovation in developing  technology and genetic adaptations that allow them to survive in the harsh environment amidst the constant threat of extinction, their society is also highly regimented and centralized with strict hierarchies.With a focus on survival at all costs, the existential question is whether Trisolaris presents salvation or damnation for planet Earth.
