Producer Joshua Papp and vocalist Monique Chappel present the melodic sounds that are The Dub Racket. The duo, who formed in April 2008, has proved their worth through a number of independent releases and performances at Melbourne’s Night Owl and the opening of Chapel Street’s newest boutique, Fanny'z. On the 29th of November 2008 The Dub Racket played at one of Australia’s largest and longest running open air festivals with special guest’s MC Harzee and VJ Dougstep. Other venues you may have caught a glimpse of their unique style include... Don’t tell Tom’s, Gertrude’s Brown Couch and Bar 303 in Northcote. The Racket will collaborate their love for Trip Hop and Downbeat with some of Melbournes fresh new talent, so stay tuned for tasty musical and lyrical treats in 09! The racket will be releasing their first album in April 09, so keep your keen eyes on this dynamic duo as they begin to bring back a sound that we have all been waiting for!
